Our story starts from a small shop located in the historic centre of Monte San Savino, an ancient town in the heart of the Valdichiana and of the Tuscan countryside.
It was 1968 when the master butcher Walter Iacomoni specialised in the preparation of wood-fired Porchetta, Finocchiona and other typical cured meats of the Tuscan tradition, starting the successful experience of Salumeria di Monte San Savino which would quickly find national fame for its quality and for the taste of its products.
The passing of the decades, technological innovation and commercial success have not altered our original philosophy inspired by the enhancement of traditional flavours.
The legacy of Walter and his wife Rosina was taken forward in the 1990s by their son Alessandro who, with a strong entrepreneurial vision, allowed the company to consolidate and establish itself in the Italian and international markets. The ability to combine tradition and innovationis our secret combined with a proud protection of quality. The company has constantly expanded its catalogue of cured meats, but the creation of each product still takes place under the banner of craftsmanship, the careful choice of raw materials, attention to detail and, above all, passion. The same passion that represents a pride of the Iacomoni family and that we have been bringing to tables since 1968.
